ਦੁੱਗਰੀ ਦੇ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਨ-ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਰਿਲੀਫ ਸਪਾ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੇਜ਼/ਧਾਰ ਹਥਿ/ਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਹਮ/ਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।


 ਹਮ/ਲਾਵਰ ਨੇ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਗਰਦਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਾ/ਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਦੀਪ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ਪਰ ਡਾਕਟਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮ੍ਰਿ/ਤਕ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਲਿਵ-ਇਨ ਰਿਲੇਸ਼ਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ। ਹਮ/ਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਪਾ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਹ/ਮਲਾਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਸ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਹਮ/ਲਾਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਖ/ਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ। 

ਖਬਰ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹੀ ਥਾਣਾ ਦੁੱਗਰੀ ਦੇ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ ਨਿਰਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਫੋਰੈਂਸਿਕ ਟੀਮ ਸਮੇਤ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਥਾਨ ’ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮ੍ਰਿ/ਤਕ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਲਾ/ਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪੋਸਟ/ਮਾਰਟਮ ਲਈ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ 32 ਸਾਲਾ ਅਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ, ਵਾਸੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਬਹੋੜ (ਨੇੜੇ ਡੇਹਲੋਂ) ਵਜੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਹਰਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ’ਤੇ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਕਤਲ ਦਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸਿਮਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਵਾਸੀ ਮਾਲੇਰਕੋਟਲਾ, ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ ਨਿਰਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਪਾ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗੇ ਸੀ. ਸੀ. ਟੀ. ਵੀ. ਕੈਮਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਕਾਰਡਿੰਗ ਲੈ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਡੂੰਘਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

 ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਨੂੰ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ’ਤੇ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਮੌਕੇ ’ਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਔਰਤ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਕਰੀਬ 3 ਵਜੇ ਸਪਾ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਤਕਰਾਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਤੇ/ਜ਼ਧਾਰ ਹਥਿਆ/ਰ ਨਾਲ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਗਰਦ/ਨ ’ਤੇ ਹਮ/ਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਔਰਤ ਦਾ ਖੂ/ਨ ਵਹਿਣ ਲੱਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਬਰ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਭੱਜਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਲਿਆ।

ਮ੍ਰਿ/ਤਕ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਝਗੜਾ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਡੇਹਲੋਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। 

ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਘਰ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੀ ਸੀ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਅਕਸਰ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ’ਤੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਈ ਦਬਾਅ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਤਲਾਕ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਔਰਤ ਮਨ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਸਪਾ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਝਗੜਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।

ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਕਾਫੀ ਦੇਰ ਬਹਿਸ ਹੋਈ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੋਸਟ/ਮਾਰਟਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਲਾ/ਸ਼ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।


In the Himmat Singh Nagar area of Dugri, a man atta/cked a woman working at the Relief Spa Centre with a sharp weap/on in broad daylight. The assailant struck her on the ne/ck, leaving her critically in/jured. She was rushed to Deep Hospital, where doctors declared her de/ad. The two had been in a live-in relationship for the past year. During the att/ack, people present at the spa centre managed to overpower the atta/cker and later handed him over to the police.

It is reported that while trying to subdue the ass/ailant, another young man also sustained inju/ries. The incident sparked fear in the locality. As soon as the news broke, Inspector Nirpinder Singh from Dugri police station arrived at the scene with a forensic team. After inspecting the site, the police took possession of the woman’s bo/dy and sent it for a post/mortem. The decea/sed was identified as 32-year-old Akhwinder Kaur, a resident of Bahor village near Dehlon. Based on the statements of the victim’s sister, Harjeet Kaur, the police registered a mur/der case. The apprehended suspect was identified as Simarjeet Singh from Malerkotla.

Inspector Nirpinder Singh stated that CCTV footage from the spa centre has been obtained, and a thorough investigation is underway. The suspect will be presented in court today to seek remand for further proceedings. Eyewitnesses said the woman was inside the spa centre around 3 PM when the accused entered and an argument broke out between them. In a fit of rage, the accused atta/cked her ne/ck with a sh/arp we/apon. As she began ble/eding profusely, those present rushed her to the hospital and informed the police. The accused tried to flee, but the people there caught him.

The victim’s sister revealed that Akhwinder had been facing domestic issues with her husband for a long time, which led her to live with her son and daughter near Dehlon. She had been in a relationship with the accused for about a year and was supporting her family with her earnings. It is said that the accused frequently argued with her, pressuring her to marry him, but she refused as she had not yet divorced her husband. Locals mentioned that the accused had visited the spa centre several times before and argued with her.

On Thursday, when he arrived, they had a heated exchange for quite some time before he committed the cri/me. The police added that the bo/dy would be handed over to the family after the post/mortem on Friday.
