ਇੱਕ ਹਫਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਇੱਕ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। 


ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਤੇ ਖੂਬ ਫੈਲੀ ਸੀ। ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ, ਉਹ ਔਰਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਤੀ ਕੋਲ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ।

ਧਨਘਾਟਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ 2017 ਵਿੱਚ ਗੋਰਖਪੁਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਲੜਕੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਵਿਆਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਆ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਬੱਚੇ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਸੱਤ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲ ਸੀ।  

ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਦਾ ਉਸੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਦਿਨ-ਬ-ਦਿਨ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਰਚਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਬਣ ਗਈ। 20 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਔਰਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਭੱਜ ਗਈ। ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਚਾਰ ਦਿਨ ਇੱਧਰ-ਉੱਧਰ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਸਮਾਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ 24 ਮਾਰਚ ਦੀ ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਗਏ। ਜਦੋਂ ਔਰਤ ਪਿੰਡ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਲਿਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ।

ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਔਰਤ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਪਾਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਆਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਔਰਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਜ਼ਬਾਤ ਜਾਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਲੇ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਘਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ।

A young man from Dhanghata village got married in 2017 to a woman from Gorakhpur district. After the wedding, she moved to her in-laws’ home, where she had two children, aged seven and five.


During her stay at her in-laws’ house, the woman fell in love with a young man from the same village, and their relationship grew over time. This affair became the talk of the entire village. On March 20, the woman left her husband and children to elope with her lover. They spent four days together in different places before returning to the village on the morning of March 24. As soon as the woman returned, her husband and mother-in-law tried to bring her back home, but she refused.


The villagers also made efforts to persuade her, but she remained adamant, declaring her intention to live and die with her lover. That evening, in the presence of some villagers, the woman married her lover at the Baba Daninath Shiv Mandir in the village and went with him to his house.


A mother’s instinct awakens due to her husband's persistence:

On Tuesday, the woman's former husband, accompanied by their two children, went to her and insisted that she return home. He threatened to commit suicide with the children if she refused. The woman's maternal instincts kicked in, and she took her children in her arms and agreed to return to her in-laws’ house with her ex-husband.


Meanwhile, her lover still wanted her to stay with him, but the woman, now moved by her children, chose to live with them at her in-laws’ home. A video of this incident quickly went viral on social media.


The mother-in-law intervenes and convinces her to go back:

As the news spread on social media, the woman started facing criticism, and the man who had arranged her marriage to her lover began feeling mentally distressed. When her lover’s mother found out about the situation, she spoke to her son and also had a conversation with the woman. Using various references to relationships, she convinced the woman to return to her former husband and children.
