ਨਾਮੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਦਾ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ, ਸਦਮੇ ਵਿਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ

 ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਖਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। 

ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਕਈ ਨਾਮਵਰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਦੀ ਫਿਲਮ "ਰਾਜ਼ੀ" ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਵੀਰ ਸਮਰਾ ਦਾ ਅਕਾਲ ਚਲਾਣਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਸਹੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਾਲੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ। ਇਸ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਗ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਫੈਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ 'ਤੇ ਸਕ੍ਰੀਨ ਰਾਈਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਅਮਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ, "ਇੱਕ ਉਦਾਸ ਗੀਤ ਵਰਗੀ ਲੜਕੀ ਚੁੱਪਚਾਪ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅਲਵਿਦਾ ਕਹਿ ਗਈ। ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਧੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਸੀ, ਮੇਰੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਭੈਣ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਨਾਭੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੱਗ ਬੜੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਪਹਿਨਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ 'ਬਾਈ' ਕਹਿਣਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਿਆਰ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਸਾਗਰ ਸੀ, ਮਾਸੂਮੀਅਤ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਫ਼ ਦਿਲ।"

"ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਸੀ। ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਬਠਿੰਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਾਰਟ ਫਿਲਮ 'ਸਬੂਤੇ ਕਦਮ' ਦੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਵੇ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਲਵੇ ਦੀ ਮਿੱਠੀ ਮਹਿਕ ਸੀ। 'ਸਬੂਤੇ ਕਦਮ' ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਡਾਇਲਾਗ, 'ਚਾਚੀ, ਆਪਾਂ ਨੀ ਵਿਆਹ-ਵਿਹੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ, ਆਪਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਐਂਵੇਂ ਈ ਠੀਕ ਆਂ,' ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਲਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਯੂਟਿਊਬ 'ਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਸੁਣਿਆ।"

"ਆਲੀਆ ਭੱਟ ਦੀ ਫਿਲਮ 'ਰਾਜ਼ੀ' ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਘਨਾ ਗੁਲਜ਼ਾਰ ਨੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖ ਸਕੀ। ਆਖਰੀ ਵਾਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਮੇਰਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਨਾਨਕ' ਦੇ ਸੈੱਟ 'ਤੇ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ, ਪਰ ਨਾ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਫੋਨ ਲੱਗਾ, ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਨੇਹਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਇਹ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਖਬਰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਗਈ। ਉਹ ਚੁੱਪਚਾਪ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਇੰਝ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਕਰ ਗਿਆ। ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਬਖਸ਼ੇ, ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਜੀ ਉਹ ਬੇਚੈਨ ਹੀ ਰਹੀ, ਕੋਈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਿਆ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸੀ ਵੀਰ ਸਮਰਾ।"

ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਤੇ ਟੀਵੀ ਐਕਟਰਸ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ (PFTAA) ਨੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਫੇਸਬੁੱਕ ਪੇਜ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਵੀਰ ਸਮਰਾ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

A very sad piece of news has emerged from the Punjabi film industry. Popular Punjabi actress Veer Samra, known for her roles in several famous Punjabi films as well as the Bollywood film Raazi, has passed away. The cause of her death is currently unknown. Her sudden demise has sent waves of grief throughout the industry.

Upon her passing, screenwriter/director Amardeep Singh Gill shared a post, expressing his sorrow. He wrote, "A girl, like a sad poem, left silently! She was like my daughter, my little sister. I used to lovingly tie her turban. Her calling me 'Bai' felt so special. She had an ocean of innocent love within her, and a river of pure affection."

He further recalled, "She was an amazing actress. The first time she came to visit me at my home in Bathinda was during the shooting of the short film 'Saboot-e-Kadam.' She was truly a Malwa girl, her speech had the fragrance of Malwa. Her role in Saboot-e-Kadam was extraordinary. One of her dialogues would leave me in awe, and I would watch it over and over on YouTube: 'Chachi, we're not getting you married; we’re fine as we are!'"

He also mentioned her strong performance in the film Raazi, directed by Meghna Gulzar, where she had a significant role. However, she couldn’t continue with her career in the industry. He recalled, "The last time I met her was during the shoot of 'Mera Baba Nanak.' For the past year, I kept trying to reach her, but I couldn't connect. Her phone never went through, and she never responded to messages. Now, I have received this news. She left without a word, and her departure has deepened the grief of her death. May Waheguru grant peace to her soul. She was restless in life, and no one could understand her!"

The Punjabi Film and Television Actors Association (PFTAA) also confirmed her death in a post shared on their official Facebook account.
