ਪੁਲਸ ਛਾਉਣੀ ''ਚ ਬਦਲਿਆ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਇਲਾਕਾ ! ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ''ਚ ਪੁਲਸ ਫੋਰਸ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ

 ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ 'ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ' ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਸਮੱਗਲਰਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। 

ਇਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅੱਜ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਬਲਦੇਵ ਨਗਰ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਚਲਾਈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਸਮੱਗਲਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਫੜਾ-ਦਫੜੀ ਮੱਚ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਨ ਏ.ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ. ਰਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਦਕਿ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਪੁਲਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਧਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਬਲਦੇਵ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਛਾਪੇ ਮਾਰੇ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਮੱਗਲਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਗਦੜ ਮੱਚ ਗਈ। ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਸ ਫੋਰਸ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, 'ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ' ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਨੂੰ 28ਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ 463 ਥਾਵਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ 33 ਐੱਫ਼.ਆਈ.ਆਰਜ਼ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ 56 ਨਸ਼ਾ ਸਮੱਗਲਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਛਲੇ 28 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਸਮੱਗਲਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਲ ਗਿਣਤੀ 4274 ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਮੱਗਲਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ 1.6 ਕਿਲੋ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ, 3046 ਨਸ਼ੀਲੀਆਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ/ਕੈਪਸੂਲ ਅਤੇ 62,940 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਰਕਮ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ. ਲਾਅ ਐਂਡ ਆਰਡਰ ਅਰਪਿਤ ਸ਼ੁਕਲਾ ਨੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 92 ਗਜ਼ਟਿਡ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਰੇਖ ਹੇਠ 1200 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪੁਲਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ 200 ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ।

The Punjab Police's ongoing "War on Drugs" campaign continues its efforts to combat drug smuggling, with a major operation taking place in Jalandhar's Baldev Nagar. This operation, led by A.D.G.P. Ram Singh, saw a stampede break out among drug smugglers during raids conducted at several houses in the area. Jalandhar Police Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur was also present to oversee the operation. A significant police presence was deployed to manage the situation.

As part of the campaign, which is in its 28th day, the Punjab Police carried out raids at 463 locations across the state on Friday. These actions led to the registration of 33 FIRs and the arrest of 56 drug smugglers. To date, a total of 4,274 drug smugglers have been arrested during the campaign. In addition to these arrests, authorities recovered 1.6 kg of heroin, 3,046 drug pills and capsules, as well as Rs 62,940 in drug-related money from the smugglers.

Special D.G.P. Law and Order, Arpit Shukla, provided details about the operation, explaining that over 200 police teams, consisting of more than 1,200 personnel and supervised by 92 gazetted officers, conducted the raids across the state.
