ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸੋਨਭੱਦਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਕ ਚਲਾਕ ਠੱਗ ਦਾ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ।

 ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਰਾਜਨ ਗਹਿਲੋਤ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਆਬਕਾਰੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿਚ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ 9 ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਠੱਗੀ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਫਰਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੋਈ ਇਕ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ’ਤੇ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।


ਪੁਲਸ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਰਾਜਨ ਗਹਿਲੋਤ ਖਾਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਮਕਾਜੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਜਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਫਸਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਜਿੱਤ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਲੈਂਦਾਂ ਸੀ। ਵਿਆਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਲੈ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਹੀ ਗਾਇਬ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। 

ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਕਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਅਦ 'ਚ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲੀ ਕਿ ਰਾਜਨ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਕਈ ਹੋਰ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਧੋਖਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਅੰਬੇਡਕਰ ਨਗਰ, ਸੰਤ ਕਬੀਰ ਨਗਰ, ਗੋਰਖਪੁਰ, ਵਾਰਾਣਸੀ, ਲਖਨਊ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨਭੱਦਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ। ਤਿੰਨ ਹੋਰ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਰਾਜਨ 'ਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਠੱਗੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ।

A shocking case of fraud has recently emerged in Sonbhadra district, Uttar Pradesh, involving a cunning fraudster named Rajan Gehlot. The accused managed to deceive and marry nine women by pretending to be an officer of the Excise Department, only to later disappear after swindling them out of large sums of money. The police arrested Rajan after a woman, who was a victim of this fraud, filed a complaint.


During the investigation, it was revealed that Rajan Gehlot primarily targeted female teachers and working women, luring them into his trap with his false claim of being a government officer. By gaining their trust, he married them and then took out loans in their names. Afterward, he would vanish without a trace. The complainant discovered that she was not the only victim, as Rajan had similarly duped several other women from different districts, including Ambedkarnagar, Santkabirnagar, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Lucknow, and Sonbhadra. In total, three additional women have also come forward, accusing Rajan of using the same deceitful tactics to marry and defraud them.
